EBT and Market Bucks
Our market accepts both EBT and Market Bucks. To access these programs visit our farmers market booth in the northeast corner of the market near Oak Ave and the Keller Williams real estate office. The booth has a table cloth reading 'SNAP/EBT accepted here.' One of our market volunteers will assist you.

How do I use EBT at the market?Bring your SNAP/EBT card to the Annandale Farmers Market. Tell the market volunteer at the booth how much you would like to withdraw. The volunteer will swipe your card with our card reader, you will enter your pin, and then you'll receive tokens of that amount to spend at the market. You can spend your tokens the same way you would money, except you cannot receive cash back from vendors. But no worries, tokens come in $1 amounts. To stretch your EBT money, check out the Market Bucks program.

What are Market Bucks?Market Bucks is a program through Hunger Solutions that helps EBT customers stretch their dollars. Market Bucks work to match your EBT withdrawal up to $10. If you withdraw $5, you'll get an extra $5 in Market Bucks for a total of $10 to spend at market. If you withdraw $30, you'll get an extra $10 in Market Bucks for a total of $40 to spend at market.
